Our Services include the sale of QR-enabled dog tags that allow customers to create pet profiles and receive notifications if their pet is found.

    This information may be displayed publicly if you choose to make it visible on your pet’s QR profile page.

8. Finder Information
When someone scans your pet’s QR tag, they may submit:

  • Their name and contact information

  • Optional location data (GPS coordinates)
    This information is shared with the pet owner to help reunite them with their pet.

We collect personal information from:

  • Directly from you – through account creation, order placement, or QR tag registration.

Public Pet Profile Information

If you choose to make information visible in your QR tag’s pet profile, it will be accessible to anyone who scans the code. You control what is displayed publicly. We recommend you do not include sensitive personal information in the public profile.


Retention of Pet & Finder Data

  • Pet profiles remain active until you delete them or request removal.

  • Finder-submitted messages and location data are stored only as long as necessary to facilitate contact, after which they may be deleted or anonymized.

  • We retain other personal data as long as required for legal, operational, or security purposes.


Sensitive Information

If you choose to enter medical or behavioral details about your pet, be aware that this may be considered “sensitive” information under certain privacy laws. Adding such data is entirely optional.


How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • Shopify – as our ecommerce platform and hosting provider.

  • Service providers – including payment processors, shipping carriers, SMS/email gateways, and hosting providers.

  • Business & marketing partners – for advertising or promotional purposes (with applicable opt-outs) not including mobile phone numbers.

  • In business transfers – such as mergers or acquisitions.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

  • Transactional Email Messages – Email alerts triggered by QR tag scans are considered essential service communications and cannot be unsubscribed from without disabling the QR service.

  • Transactional SMS Messages – You may opt in or unsubscribe at any time. Mobile numbers collected for SMS notifications will not be shared or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

  • Message Frequency – Two notifications are sent each time the Pet Tag is scanned.

  • Message and Data Rates – Message and data rates may apply.

  • Marketing Messages – You can opt out of promotional emails at any time.


Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.

  • Receive a copy of your data.
